Hi fellow operators...
we start a small group in FB for promotion of 26 mhz and old calling frequency 26.285....
Maybe this frequencies has memories for you in France..
27.555 + and - is very very busy in strong conditions and for the future will be more difficult
We remeber this frequency from years past and was popular to meet in frequency
if you would like to see this frequency again maybe you can visit and have a tranquil time from 555 and El comandante type stations

remember these frequencies come free in your radio hi hi...

monitor this freq also if you wish...

THANKYOUCool

Do you really think you have a "tranquil time" from El comandante & Co. at this frequency?
The hobby of these types is to be annoyed it other radio operators and I believe that 26.285 is available on their radios also. Wink

I do Micheal this frequency was used in past times AND was very good....
El Comandante stations cannot be in two places at the same time......!!!

they want maximum attention.... cause maximum problems...

At least we can try this, not for the many but for the few.....

it will not be for all countries very true.. just like other 27 mhz frequencies each area is different.YOU must obey your local laws and rules for TX and monitoring...

26285 was a great calling frequency back in the day, and by the way was open far longer after the prop had dropped out on the 555, yeah they were the days Nick

Hello everybody! I live in Carcassonne in South West France and I often get a LOT of QRN on that frequency and all the other frequencies on the band that I have 285 on. I also sometimes get a very stong signal from something that makes the whole 40 channels on that band unusable for me. I have 285 on band B on my CRT SS 9900. I agree that we need to find another calling frequency though but 285 would be no good for me. As for El Commandante etc I'm sure they will have at least 26 to 30Mhz on their radios and if they have not I'm sure they will change their radios.

Why aren't AT members allowed to go below the Mids? Some of the best DX happens on the Lows and Double Lows!

I do know the AT rules! It is also say ,AT,s have to follow the legal rules in the country you are active! If we should there was no dx,ing on 11mtr. At all!! Remember a lion doesn't need a cave for shelter! For he is king in the whole area!!!!
